During the Covid-19 times, many things have changed. To keep you updated on how the team is experiencing these times, we interviewed the team again! Today Niels, Valerie and Yannick.

What will you be doing next year?
Niels: I will be starting the third year of my bachelor, I am not sure what I will be doing with the rest of my time.
Yannick: I have already completed my bachelor so I only have to do my masters. The master which I am going to do is called Offshore Engineering.
Valerie:  I’m going to finish my bachelor of architecture in February. After that I want to do an internship or switch to Industrial design engineering.

What are you doing in your free time right now?
Valerie: Not much actually.
Yannick: Me neither, except for enjoying the holiday. We are organizing a team weekend  in a couple of weeks, I am looking forward to that!
Valerie: Actually, I am also busy with personal development. I try to read a lot of books and make a lot of puzzles. I am also doing more self-reflection.

What did you like most about the past year?
Valerie: I enjoyed the day after the design presentation the most. It was at that point that I realized that I had given a presentation for a couple of hundred people. I still had a lot of adrenaline.
Niels: I liked the selection of the athletes the most, because I had to do a lot and learned the most from this.
Yannick: For me, I liked the testing days the most. Because of the Corona virus we could not build our Velox, so testing with the test bike is the most memorable.

What do you miss the most about the office days?
Yannick: The small talks with my team mates.
Valerie: Coffee made by Thijs-Gerrit.

What is the coolest thing on your work-at-home desk?
Val: I really like the bouquet of sunflowers on my desk.
Niels: My desk is empty, except for my laptop of course.
Yannick: I am currently working at the house of my girlfriend. But on my own desk in my own house I have a picture of me and my girlfriend standing on top of a mountain.
